The dental theatre environment has to both ergonomic and functional. Increasing pressures from new technologies are impacting on the available working spaces of most modern dentists.
The opportunities these new technologies represent require new thinking behind the layout of the modern dental practice. Cavendish Dental Practice were looking to implement a new patient camera and DVD player however had no obvious space in which to store the new system. Restrictions prevented the new LCD monitor being mounting off a wall or floor mounted. Add to this the new system would be required to adjust to a comfortable viewing position for both patient and dentist.
Internal cable management would also be a key factor in reducing dust collection points. After careful assessment of the dental theatre, it was decided that a height and reach adjustable ceiling mounted solution would provide all movement required and in turn require a zero footprint off the floor or walls.

After defining the key objectives within the Cavendish Dental Practice it was decided that the ICW Titan-Elite LCD ceiling mount would exceed all criteria's.
The EMT2ER-CE12-QG provides a massive 1447mm of reach and 533mm of gas assisted height adjustment. All cables are routed internally through each arm. This solution allows both dentist and patient to comfortably view the LCD monitor and adjust between the two positions with ease.
