PACS - Picture Archiving & Communication Systems

PACS (Picture Archiving & Communication Systems) are often utilised at various locations enabling medical staff to quickly and efficiently retrieve, process and transfer medical imaging information. PACS workstations therefore provide a valueable asset in the clinicians toolbox.

In some PACS scenarios, a single monitor PACS workstation may be utilised more by a single member of staff during a shift than others. The Ultra 390 Series Wall Track mounted combination monitor & keyboard arms are ideal in such situations (although their versatility makes them ideal in many more PACS situations).

Supporting LCD tv/monitors up to 8.16Kg in weight, the Ultra 390 series allow independent adjustment of monitor and keyboard height on a single 915mm (36") wall track mount. This allows up to 660mm of vertical adjustment to be achieved with a further 510mm of horizontal keyboard adjustment (via. 2 x 280mm swing arms) and up to 255mm of monitor reach (via. single 280mm extension arm). This vertical and horizontal adjustment enables the user to quickly and efficiently position both monitor and keyboard for their optimum working height & position.

The specially designed monitor friction arm allows a further 150mm of height adjustment along with 180° of monitor rotation plus 90° of forward and 20° of backward tilt. Such fine controls enable the operator to define their optimum viewing position with ease.

The EMUL390TSQ1-0-3-2 (light grey finish) and EMUL390TSB1-0-3-2 (black finish) are the ideal solution where the Picture Archiving & Communication System Workstation position needs to be close to the wall but extra keyboard & monitor extension may be required. However, the Ultra 390 Series is also available with different monitor and keyboard extensions available making this product range a truly versatile solution.
