PACS (Picture Archiving & Communication Systems) are often
utilised at various locations enabling medical staff to quickly and efficiently
retrieve, process and transfer medical imaging information. PACS workstations therefore
provide a valueable asset in the clinicians toolbox.
In some PACS scenarios, additional monitors can often increase the productivity
of medical working environments by offering increased image viewing potential. This
makes tasks, such as comparitive viewing much simpler. The Ultra 390 Series
Wall Track mounted combination dual monitor & keyboard arms are
ideal in such situations (although their versatility makes them ideal in many more
PACS situations).
Supporting LCD tv/monitors up to 11Kg in weight, the Ultra
390 dual monitor series allow independent adjustment of monitors and
keyboard height on a single 915mm (36") wall track mount. This allows up to
660mm of vertical adjustment to be achieved, enabling the user to quickly and efficiently
position both monitors and keyboard for their
optimum working height.
Two LCD T.V. / monitors of up to 540mm each in width can be accommodated, with each
monitor having available 30° of tilt / side to side movement and 360° of
monitor rotation possible allowing for portrait to landscape movement. The slide
under mouse tray allows for either left or right handed use, whilst both mouse tray
and keyboard flip up when not in use. With 2 x 280mm (11") keyboard extension
arms, users have more flexibility in keyboard working position.
The EMUL390VM1X2-T36-A2-KB (black finish) is the ideal dual monitor
solution where the Picture Archiving & Communication System Workstation position
needs to be close to the wall, but horizontal keyboard position may need adjustment.
However, for increased flexibility in ergonomic working positions, mounts are available
incorporating both compact and shorter keyboard extended versions .
